After graduating from the University Of Colorado at Boulder Richie Adams worked freelance in the field of advertising before attending the American Film Institute (Los Angeles) and Otis School of Art and Design (Los Angeles). While at Otis he was honored as a co-recipient of the prestigious Tom Correy Memorial Award for Outstanding Achievement in Broadcast Design. Based on his work at Otis, Richie was handpicked by Richard Alan Greenberg of motion picture main title fame (e.g., Superman, Untouchables, and Matrix) to be the Art Director for his new company, RAGinc. He then accepted the position of Creative Director for Ignite Creative, a Hollywood film design company, where he continued to design and produce both main title sequences and motion picture advertising for the film and television industry. After four years with Ignite, Adams relocated home to Baton Rouge, LA where he formed River Road Creative, a boutique live action studio specializing in design, production and post-production services for the film and television industry.


In 2007, Adams was named an honoree of the Baton Rouge Business Report’s “Forty Under 40,” and was featured as one of the nine “2008 People to Watch” in 225 Magazine. Adams has won various awards for his work as a commercial director, including a national Telly Award and Best of TV & Best of Show Addys for his recent work for 2010 EBR Schools Ad campaign.


Adams currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Baton Rouge Film Commission.
