![]() River Road Creative teamed up with the Louisiana's Office of Entertainment Development to showcase what the State had been doing the previous year with regard to the music and film industries in Louisiana. The theme of this project was 50 years of Louisiana music in the Grammy's, which included an interview with Jay Danna of New Orleans, LA, who was responsible for coining the term "Grammy," when she won a nationwide contest in 1957 by suggesting the name for the award to be given by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. |
