The main title sequence of Timeline is an attempt to illustrate, visually, the title of the film. The sequence opens with a single line moving left to right, bisecting the screen. Dates and corresponding graphic markings emerge from shadow, forming a “timeline” and the first title card. The individual characters rotate to reveal the second title card, and the sequence is complete when the main title is revealed and rotates to deliver the opening scene of the film.
